ITINERARY

Day 01- Delhi

ArriveDelhi by International flight. Our representative would assist and transfer to the hotel. Check in and Refresh and Regain the energy for the exciting activities ahead. Begin the city tour of Delhi. Visit Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb and Lotus Temple followed by the visit to the teeming, buzzing souk-like bazaars of Old Delhi with its narrow alleys which lead to the grand mosque-Jama Masjid and the colossal Red Fort. Take a cycle rickshaw ride weaving through these lanes to explore the chaotic charm of Old Delhi. Drive through tree-lined boulevards and wide avenues of New Delhi to witness the architectural brilliance of India Gate and the President’s House reflecting the elegant synthesis of Indian and European traditions. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi –Mathura-Vrindavan- Agra

Morning visitQutubMinar. Later in the afternoon leave for Agra on the way visit Mathura and Vrindawan, the sacred cities associated with the birth and childhood of Lord Krishna. Upon arrival in Agra, check-in hotel. In the evening visitTajMahalas no words can aptly describe the visual experience of witnessing the ethereal TajMahal at sunset with the marble monument changing shades from orange to rose red –a scenario so pure, intense and spiritual that it leaves one in a hypnotic trance. Return back to the Hotel and enjoy the magic show performed by the local magician and overnight at Hotel.

Day 03 : Agra-FatehpurSikri-Agra

Agra, the erstwhile capital of India under the great Mughals and known for TajMahal, has always fascinated the people. Most of Agra is on the West bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort and the Taj at its nucleus. TajMahal is quite simply one of mankind’s most remarkable creations. After breakfast you will leave for a half day sightseeing visiting TajMahal built by emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife MumtazMahal, Agra Fort. Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone. It lies on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart of the town.
Itmud-Ud-Duala is also known as BABY TAJ, has a special place in the chronicles of both history as well as architecture. This is precisely because ItmadudDaula is the very first tomb in India that is entirely made out of Marble. This is actually a mausoleum that overlooks the River Yamuna and is a tomb of Mir Ghiyas Beg, a minister in the court of Shah Jahan.
Afternoondrive for Jaipur via visiting FatehpurSikri, a deserted palaces and pavilions of the Mughal kingdom – a World Heritage Site. FatehpurSikri is a masterpiece in sandstone with the stunning elegance of its palaces and courts. Drive to Jaipur the flamboyant capital of Rajasthan. On arrival check-in at the hotel.Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan a romantic realm of resplendent palaces, mighty fortresses and regal Maharajahs that lies in the western deserts. Jaipur is also known as the Pink city. on account of the distinctive color of its buildings. This did not, however, form part of the original plan, but dates back to 1856, when the city was given a wash of pink in honor of a State Visit from Prince Albert. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04: Jaipur

Proceed for morning excursion to the Amber Fort which was the capital of ancient Rajputs. Enjoy an elephant ride / jeep ride to reach the fort. Walk through the history and immerse yourself in the rich culture.
Amber Fort construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression.
City Palace is a delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses theShriGovindDev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
JantarMantar is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
HawaMahal, the ornamental facade of this “Palace of Winds” is a prominent landmark in Jaipur.
Evening, visit the Birla Temple to learn more about the fascinating religious life of Jaipur. The marble structure, built as recently as 1985, houses ornate statues including one of Lakshmi (goddess of Wealth and Beauty) and Narayan dressed in gaudy robes, representing a Hindu vision of heavenly luxury. Carvings in the temple and on pillars supporting the covered walkways include images of the Hindu pantheon, as well as Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary and St Francis of Assisi. Your visit will coincide with the AARTI Ceremony, which involves oil lamps being lit and waved, in order to awake and invoke the deity. Dinner at ChokhiDhani. Day 05: Jaipur to Delhi

Morning after breakfast driveDelhi. Upon arrival check at our hotel in Delhi. In the evening enjoy the Sound and Light show, a witness to the eventful history of Red Fort is brought out as a sound and light show every evening on the ramparts of the Red Fort, for those desirous of delving into Delhi’s glorious and tumultuous past at the Red Fort. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06: DelhiI to Haridwar

Early morning drive to Haridwar and Rishikesh to feel of the spiritual ethos of India. A paradise for nature lovers, Haridwar presents a kaleidoscope of Indian culture and civilization. It is also the starting point of the journey to the sacred sources of river Ganga and Yamuna.

It is located at the foothills of the lower Himalayan Shivalikmountains, on the banks of River Ganges, and is an important pilgrimage site for the Hindus. Haridwar has earned fame as being the place, which has been blessed by the trinity of the Lords Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma.

Upon arrival check-in the hotel. Afternoon visit Mansa Devi temple and in the evening enjoy the spectacular view of ‘Aarti’ at Hare Ki Pauri.The evening prayer (Aarti) at dusk offered to Goddess Ganga at Hare-Ki-Pauri is an enchanting experience and a mesmerizing spectacle to witness. The synchronized ritual of the Aarti and the sounds of the holy chants with thousands of lamps floating in the river is indeed a spellbinding sight.In the evening spend your time on the Ghat. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Haridwar – Rishikesh – Haridwar

After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh, a very important Hindu pilgrimage site. There are number of Ashrams and temples giving the entire place a spiritual feeling. The ceaseless flow of the river, regarded as Goddess Ganga adds to the beauty and the purity of the place. Along the river, the area is filled with thick green forests in the all-mountainous region.

Morning drive to Rishikesh, also known as the “Place of Sagas”.Rishikesh is located at the confluence of the Chandrabhaga and Ganga and surrounded by scenic beauty of the hills on three sides. In the recent past this place has become a favorite destination of spiritual seekers and yoga practitioners.

River rafting, trekking, rock climbing, hiking are some of the activities one can easily be conducted.Visit LaxmanJhula, Ram Jhula, GeetaBhawan and other temples and ashrams, Later in the evening drive back to Hotel in Haridwar for overnight stay.

Day08 :Haridwar to Delhi

Morning after breakfast, spend some time on the banks of the river Ganges and visit Ashram. Later in the afternoon drive back to Delhi. On arrivaltransfer to International Airport.
